This sweet little girl has found her forever home. |
| Hi, my name is Frank Ron Sinatra |
|
This adorable cross pug, with a bad eye, waited patiently at FORA until he was adopted. Finally he is in a home he deserves. From: Toni Well our little boy landed! I went to the place where we had to collect him and presented them with the number and waited. Was told to look behind and there he was in the crate behind me on the floor - the little face just looking out. He is absolutely adorable... we travelled back in the sweltering heat so thank heavens for aircon! Frank does NOT like his collar and lead so may have to change it for a harness as had to bribe him with an entire packet of droe wors to get him to walk with me! He had a lovely bath when we got home and drank lots of water. VERY comfortable with the girls and already jumping on sofa!. Like he has always been here. He is fascinated with the new surroundings and also likes his new bed, so all is well! Think he may need to go onto Advantage or Frontline as chewing his foot like mad after his bath but quite a character and running around with tail wagging like mad. Louise, I can't thank you enough for getting our little boy to us. Thank you soooooooo much. Toni |

| We are Gizmo & Isabelle (aka Gizzy & Izzie) |
|
These two beautiful Puginese (Pug/Pekinese) were at HAWS at the end of 2009. After an appeal from Pug Rescue, Mara decided to foster them and as you can see from the email below, Gizzy and Izzie have now found their forever home. Subject: Memo from Gizzy & Izzie Hello Cheryl Just to say that now, being 1 week after our arrival at La Chaumiere, we are that happy and content, it feels as if we have always been able to run and play in these beautiful gardens! Mopsie is a bit grumpy with us but also chases after the birds and the balls with us and starts to allow us to eat out of the communial plates which used to belong to him only!! We sleep in a big kidney shaped basket with a thick warm blanket in it and we lie together and pray for another day like the one just passed! We get brushed and combed and powered and we are looking real good! Thanks for having cared enough about us two during the time of doubt and uncertainty and that you persevered in finding the perfect home for us. We love you. Gizzy & Izzie |

Recently Rehomed Pugs

I am Ludoh and I am one of the puppies that Pug Rescue re-homed after they convinced the owner of my mommy and daddy to stop breeding (heartfelt letter in Pugtales Nov 2009).

I have a rags to riches story. I was removed from an informal settlement where I was tied to a washing line but now I live in a warm and loving home.
The first year of my life has not been the easiest. Pug Rescue has found me a wonderful home where I am getting the love I deserve.

We were rescued from Tzaneen and now live in a loving home where we are adored.
I was found as a stray in Pretoria.
